Dr Mike Katell is an Ethics Fellow in the Turing’s Public Policy Programme and a Visiting Senior Lecturer at the Digital Environment Research Institute (DERI) at Queen Mary University of London. A theme of his research is data justice and the fundamental rights implications of data and digital infrastructures. Dr Katell’s current research projects include an investigation into the equity issues raised by AI-supported medical technologies as well as research into the opportunities and challenges raised by generative AI for creative workers.
