Sarah Milner is a director of Scientific Writing at a mid-sized biotech company that specializes in drug development for rare metabolic diseases. Day-to-day, alongside her amazing team, she manages and writes global submission documents. Since entering the world of writing after completing her PhD in 2009, Sarah has always worked in the rare disease space, working primarily on conditions that affect children. She is passionate about working with patients and caregivers to try and understand what really matters to them and what they want from a treatment. She has a background in Molecular Biology across several fields including Dermatology, Gene Therapy, and Metabolic Disease.
