Experience of using and AI tool from a medical writer's perspective

2:35 PM - 2:55 PM

Looking back on almost 1 year of using an AI tool in day-to-day CSR production at a medical writing company, this presentation will report on how using the tool changes the medical writer and authoring-team experience. Small case studies will be presented to explain how the tool is applied in the writing process. Using feedback from the writers and statistics on productivity, the presentation will explore what we are learning about using technology to support the writing activity including how it is changing the interaction with the teams and larger-reaching changes to the traditional set of activities associated with CSR planning. The goal of this presentation is to inform the medical writing community about how this technology is changing the process of planning, writing, and thinking about documents and to give some ideas about new ways of thinking that medical writers need to be open to as these technologies become common place.
