This year, we have been carefully considering ways in which we can reduce our environmental impact.

As a result, we have taken the following actions:

• Switched our name badges from plastic to recyclable cards. 
• Reduced the amount of paper we use at the event, including printed agendas and programmes. Our conference app will contain full information regarding our agenda, speakers, sponsors and more. QR codes will be placed around the venue for you to download our app and access this information, with free WiFi available. 
• Requested our sponsors to support us in our agenda to reduce paper on-site.
• Reduced the amount of waste created through promotional items. We know some items including pens and notebooks can be an added bonus to receive at our events, but have considered carefully the volume and type of items available to ensure we reduce waste from unwanted or ‘one-time use’ items.
• Requested the venue to use crockery rather than disposable plates or bottles for refreshments.

How you can support us:

• Opt for green travel where this is available and appropriate for you (including car sharing, travelling by tram, train, bus, bike or foot).
• Bring your own refillable cup/water bottle, if you have one.
• Bring your own paper and pens if possible.
• Download our conference app ahead of time to access our agenda, programme and information about the event.
