How will medical writers work with AI

As AI picks up momentum in everything area of life, it is clear that it will also play a role in medical writing. We can see how it can be used not only to consolidate information from source documents such as protocols and analysis plans, but also to troll through mountains of data in the blink of an eye, write initial summaries of that data, and generally support the task of pulling information together to generate the documents we write. Given this, it is clear there will be a shift in the role of the medical writer in writing these documents. This talk will explore a range of ideas about how medical writers will work together with AI, from where our focus will land to what a medical writer will need to learn to use the technology, and more.
