VET SIG

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

In silico methods can predict the toxicity of drugs for various toxicological endpoints or predict pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of drugs in different species, and have the potential to replace in vivo testing and thereby reduce the number of animal trials.

In this one hour Veterinary Special Interest group (VET SIG) hybrid session, examples of in silico methods will be presented. Their use and acceptance in veterinary medicine from a regulatory perspective will be discussed.
